Mr. Blain served as the Chair of the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar in 2008-09 and continues to be a member of its Executive Council. He is also a past president of the Hillsborough County Bar Foundation and the Ferguson-White American Inn of Court. Elena Ketchum chaired the District-Wide Steering Committee for the Middle District of Florida Bankruptcy Court from its inception in 2012 to the end of 2016, while Barbara Hart took on the role in 2020 and 2021. Elena Ketchum serves as a member of the Local Rules Lawyers’ Advisory Committee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Amy Mayer currently holds the position of Vice-Chair of the Florida Network of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation. Barbara Hart is a former Chair of the Florida Network. Jodi Dubose, immediate past Chair of the Gulf Coast Network, is presently a member of the Executive Board of IWIRC International. She is a past President of the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association and The Northern District of Florida Bankruptcy Bar Association. Barbara Hart received IWIRC Florida Network’s 2021 Trailblazer Award, and under her leadership, the Florida Network received the Ryan Award in 2020 for best exemplifying IWIRC during the past calendar year. Amy Mayer received the IWIRC Florida Network’s 2022 Trailblazer Award.
