The firm represented the official committees of unsecured creditors in each of the following cases (in alphabetical order):
- 1 Global Capital, LLC. The debtors operated in the financial services industry, primarily by providing direct merchant cash to small businesses across the United States. The jointly-administered cases involve approximately 4,000 creditors and over $700 million in filed claims. The representation is on-going.
- Anchor Glass Container Corporation. The debtor was the third largest manufacturer of glass products in the United States with scheduled assets and liabilities in excess of $600 million. The committee helped negotiate a plan that was confirmed. Following confirmation, the firm was engaged by the Trustee of the Unsecured Creditors’ Trust to represent him in pursuing claim objections and other matters.
- Cutler Manufacturing Co. The debtor was a 100 year-old, publicly traded manufacturing company. As counsel for the committee, the firm successfully backed the plan proposed by a purchaser, which was confirmed over the debtor’s objection.
- Esther Weisman Enterprises, Inc., d/b/a Southern Estate Buyers & Appraisers of Tampa. The debtor was a Tampa based jewelry retailer and wholesaler, which closed abruptly following the owner’s death. The firm initially represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the case, which was comprised primarily of jewelry manufacturers, importers, and wholesalers. The firm sought and obtained the appointment of a Chapter 11 Trustee, successfully confirmed a liquidating plan, and pursued avoidance actions.
- Jordyn Holdings IV, LLC. The debtor owned valuable real estate and filed a Chapter 11 petition due to a dispute with its secured creditor. The firm represented the committee by proposing a plan, which was confirmed by the bankruptcy court. Following confirmation, the firm was retained to represent the post-confirmation trust.
- The Laminate Store International, Inc. The debtor was a distributor of flooring products operating in five states. A plan was confirmed.
- Luxury Ventures, LLC. The debtor operated a chain of jewelry stores. A plan was confirmed, which was supported by the committee.
- Old Corkscrew Plantation, LLC. The debtor owned real estate in Southwest Florida. A plan was confirmed and unsecured creditors were paid in full.
- Parkstone Medical Information Systems. The Debtor was a Delaware company based in Weston, Florida and a leader in the development of wireless handheld solutions for physicians. Its product, ParkStone System, is a handheld device connected to other palm-sized PCs that physicians use to manage medications, generate referrals, manage diagnostic tests and document hospital charges. The firm represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors and successfully confirmed a liquidating plan. Postconfirmation, the Committee was appointed as a representative of the Liquidating Debtor to prosecute avoidance actions. The firm represented the Committee in prosecuting over 75 avoidance actions, which generated a significant recovery for creditors.
- Skyway Communications Holding Corp. The debtor was attempting to develop a ground-to-air in-flight communication network to facilitate homeland security and in-flight entertainment. The firm initially represented the official committee of unsecured creditors in the case and successfully confirmed a plan which provided for the cancelation of the Debtor’s publicly traded stock and the issuance of private stock to the purchaser.

Chapter 7 Trustee Representation
- Representation of chapter 7 trustee for debtors that were developing a $2.9 billion, 3,815 room, 63 story skyscraper, casino, and condominium project on the Las Vegas strip. The cases were converted after the project was sold to Carl Icahn.
- Representation of chapter 7 trustee for debtors that were “feeder funds” for the Ponzi scheme perpetuated by Scott W. Rothstein and Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler, P.A. The cases involved over $735 million in filed claims. The chapter 7 trustee has paid all allowed, non-subordinated claims in full.
- Representation of chapter 7 trustee in a case filed by an aerospace company. The firm successfully represented the trustee recovering substantial damages caused by insiders’ transfer of technology to a related entity.

- Representation of Chapter 7 trustee in an involuntary case involving a resort and marina in Naples, Florida. Following the conversion of the case, the firm represented the chapter 11 trustee. As counsel for the chapter 11 trustee in a converted bankruptcy case, the firm was successful in obtaining DIP financing which primed existing liens and confirming a Chapter 11 a plan was confirmed which paid creditors 100%.

- As counsel for the chapter 11 trustee in a converted bankruptcy case, the firm was successful in obtaining DIP financing which primed existing liens and confirming a Chapter 11 a plan was confirmed which paid creditors 100%.

- Representation of trustee of the unsecured creditors trust for the third largest manufacturer of glass products in the United States in contesting claims, pursuing avoidance actions, and making distributions
- Representation of a post-confirmation trustee in connection with a confirmed plan for real estate development
- Representation of plan trustee for jewelry company in pursuing avoidance actions
- Representation of plan trustee appointed for a medical billing company to pursue avoidance actions
- Representation of unsecured creditor trustee appointed under a confirmed plan to consummate the plan for a company that had attempted to develop a ground-to-air communication network. The firm was successful in returning a 70% dividend to the holders of allowed priority claims.

- Lykes Bros. Steamship Co., Inc., the third largest U.S. Flag international shipping company with assets and liabilities in excess of $300 million;
- JumboSports Inc., a major national retailer of sporting goods with 59 stores in more than 20 states and assets and liabilities of more than $300 million;
- Linc.net, Inc., a Miami-based construction company with annual revenues and liabilities in excess of $300 million;
- Viasource Communications, Inc., a Ft. Lauderdale-based company with annual revenues and assets exceeding $100 million;
- Moltech Power Systems, Inc., a Gainesville-based manufacturer of rechargeable batteries with annual revenues of $140 million and assets and liabilities of approximately $80 million;
- Wm. G. Roe and Sons, Inc. and Wm. G. Roe and Company, Inc., the largest packer and shipper of tangerines in Florida;
- The American Ship Building Company, a New York Stock Exchange company at the time of filing; and Trust America Service Corp., an American Stock Exchange company at the time of filing.

- The Celotex Corp. (a manufacturer of home building products with annual revenues of $400 million);
- Silas Creek Retail, L.P., d/b/a Piece Goods Shops and d/b/a Northwest Fabrics (the fourth largest retail fabric chain in the nation with 195 locations throughout the United States);
- Murray Chris-Craft (a leading recreational boat manufacturer);
- American Family Publishers (a Time, Inc. subsidiary);
- The Eli Witt Company (a large food and tobacco distributor);

Representation of debtor which provided lighting maintenance and energy services solutions to clients in multiple market sectors. The debtor served customers in 26 states from its offices in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Ohio. A plan of reorganization has been confirmed. Representation of four related debtors which, collectively, were the fourth largest national retailer of fabrics and crafts, with debts in excess of $40 million. A liquidating plan was confirmed. Representation of three related debtors with serviced independent grocery stores annual sales in excess of $200 million and over $35 million in debt. Afford A Staff Representation of a debtor which was in the employee leasing business with substantial tax debts. A plan of reorganization was confirmed. A plan was confirmed that provided for the sale of the debtor’s assets. Representation of three related debtors in the air conditioning service business. A plan was confirmed. U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Middle District of Florida - In re: Air Now Allied Equipment Warehousing Company Representation of debtor that provided warehousing services throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean and the owner of the company. Representation of the debtor which operated eight retail jewelry stores. The debtor conducted store-closing sales at four of the stores and confirmed a plan of reorganization to be funded by operations at the remaining stores. Representation of the debtor which operated a commercial printing services company in north Florida.
