On March 3, 2026, Elena Paras Ketchum and Matthew Hale, both shareholders of the firm, participated in a panel discussion titled “Private Equity in Chapter 11 Cases: From DIP Financing to Chapter 11 Plan” at the Annual Conference of TMA Florida. The program brought together restructuring professionals to examine the increasingly significant role private equity firms play in Chapter 11 proceedings. The panel explored how private equity investors are shaping restructuring outcomes at multiple stages of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy case—from providing debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing to serving as plan sponsors or strategic purchasers in sale transactions.
