Michael J. Hooi Appointed to Serve as Judge on the Hillsborough County Court

Michael Hooi an attorney with the firm since 2009 has been appointed to fill one of the new vacancies on the Hillsborough County Court created by the Florida Legislature.

Since joining the firm SRBP, Michael has maintained a diverse practice, including representing parties in bankruptcy cases, state court litigation, state and federal court appeals, and transactions. Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as a Law Clerk and Staff Attorney to Judge Charles R. Wilson from the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and his law degree from the University of Florida.
