Matthew B. Hale and Adam G. Suess joined the firm on September 14, 2015. Both will work primarily out of the firm’s Tampa office.
Mr. Hale joins the firm after having served as law clerk to the Honorable Karen S. Jennemann, Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Middle District of Florida. He received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law, where he was awarded the Order of the Coif. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida. While in law school, he received book awards in federal jurisdiction, taxation, law and economics, and Supreme Court opinion writing. Mr. Hale also served as an editor of the Florida State University Law Review.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Suess served as a district-wide law clerk for the Middle District of Florida Bankruptcy Court and, before then, as a prosecutor (felony division) for the State Attorney’s Office in the Fifth Judicial Circuit. Mr. Suess received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida. While in law school, he received book awards in courses on First Amendment Theory and on Mediation.
